"Just Ask"A NOTE FROM KIT LYMAN, YOUR NATIONAL RECRUITER:
It is really not hard to find a new friend, "Just Ask." Usually all you have to do tell
them about GWRRA and give them the opportunity to join. After all, all they can say is no...and then you can go on ask the next one. Think about it, that’s
probably how you and I were recruited into the Association, someone had to ask you to join. So, please don’t fret if they
say no. Recruitment is the heart of a healthy and growing Association. You are proud of GWRRA. So go out there, and talk to
those to people you don’t recognize as belonging to GWRRA. Strike up conversation. Tell
them about your Association. Tell them about your Chapter. Tell them where you went last year. Tell them about all the
benefits there are to belonging. I’m sure if you tell them about the Gold Book, Wing World magazine, pins/patches/decals,
key chain, membership card, and other benefits such as the Rider Education (motorcycle safety)
Program, high mileage program, technical assistance, GWRRA Internet Webpage, and GWRRA-sponsored cruises, they’ll listen.
All these benefits plus the TowBuster Program (emergency roadside service) where two motorcycles are automatically included
in the program when you join GWRRA!
If you have any questions on how to recruit, please feel free to contact me.
"Just ask."
