Why Does GWRRA Use a Housing Bureau for Wing Ding?
Simply put, as a service to our Members!  A housing bureau is a one-stop shopping service for your hotel needs.  No need to call hotel after hotel only to find they are sold out, too expensive, or too far.  By utilizing the housing bureau, you can reserve up to 10 rooms for Wing Ding by fax, mail, or online until June 1, 2009, at the guaranteed GWRRA discounted rates.

In order to receive the discounted GWRRA rates, reservations must be made through the Tulsa Convention Housing Bureau.  Simply follow the links on our website at www.wing-ding.org.

From a tourism perspective, events (conventions/rallies/etc.) are most often measured by their economic impact.  The higher the economic impact of an event, the more attractive it becomes to new and different host cities across the nation.  Economic impact is most easily tracked and measured by hotel room usage.  Therefore, the more accurate reporting or tracking of hotel history, the higher the economic impact and subsequently the more appeal to cities or municipalities.  In order for Wing Ding to sustain and/or increase its allure and attractiveness to new and different cities, it must have an accurate and viable economic impact.  Thus, not only is it a convenience to you, but we hope you can see the importance of using a housing bureau so we can continue to secure new and exciting host cities for Wing Ding for many years to come!
