| Proud to be a GWRRA Member
I have been riding since 1969, mostly by myself. Since KJ and I married, we have had only three or four other people to ride with, but I always thought it would be more fun to ride with an organization or club. Well, one Saturday afternoon my dream came true. I met Tom and Pat Murray at a panty-run and was introduced to GWRRA and Tennessee Chapter-Q. Needless to say, my life and my riding hasn’t been the same since.
When we went to our first meeting and met the Chapter Members, I knew I would love being in this family of bikers. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and I could tell everyone was being his or herself. (I have never been hugged by so many women that I didn’t know!) During that first meeting we attended, we could see that this was not a club but an organization of people that truly cares about their community. Since that first meeting, I have learned more about riding, my community, and different charitable organizations. I have met GWRRA Members from all parts of this state, and during Spring Fling I met even more from other states. And they all have the same goal or motto: Friends for Fun, Safety, and Knowledge.
GWRRA has the tools available to increase my knowledge. One tool is the Horizon Program. It has taught me valuable information that can be used within GWRRA. The knowledge obtained has also proven to be helpful in my professional and personal life. The more I learn the more I enjoy being a GWRRA Member!

Having a Great Time
We are having a great time! The fun and friendship is wonderful. Our Chapter TX- 02 in Brownwood, Texas, is a great bunch of people. We love riding. Thanks!

Great Calgary Chapter
I’ve enjoyed being a Member. When I joined last September, I had 10,000 KM on my bike. In the months of September and October, I put on 7,000 KM. I’ve met great people to ride with in Calgary Chapter AB-A. They are very friendly. I enjoy taking Rider Education and the Gold Book.

Hats Off to Chapter Directors
I now attend Chapter CA-1A and also K in California for many great rides, meetings, and Chapter events. My hat’s off to all Chapter Directors for their leadership!

Doing a Great Job
I have participated with Texas Chapter U. My job prevents me from participating as much as I would like. I love my 2008 Gold Wing and look forward to my future in GWRRA and Chapter U. Brad and Jill do a great job!

Thanks for All You Do
I love the magazine. My wife reads it first! We don’t have a local Chapter nearby. The closest one to us is 2 ½ hours away. We went to a rally in Nevada and also one in Utah. We had a great time at both rallies and met a lot of nice people from up north. They made us feel welcome. Hopefully, they will invite us to more rallies. Thanks for all you do for all of us riders.
