We’ve heard from many of you that it can be difficult getting Members to volunteer at Chapter events, rallies, etc. A Member may hesitate to volunteer for an activity or task because it appears too large, or they think it might require too much of their time. One way to help alleviate this problem is to break one large task into several small tasks. This way the volunteer doesn’t feel overwhelmed. If everyone does a small portion, the burden is less for one or two people and teamwork is created in the process. And, you can remind them that the best way to have fun is to participate!
